Problem tSendMail Office365

hello to all,

I use "Talend Open Studio for Data Integration Version: 7.3.1" and am experiencing a problem with the tSendMail component using my Office365 account.

I have already modified, as indicated in other posts, the file java.security deleting the values TLSv1, TLSv1.1 from the line jdk.tls.disabledAlgorithms, I still receive the error message: "javax.mail.AuthenticationFailedException".

I have already verified the account settings and also the user and password, I have no problems in authentication, the problem is when I try to use the Talend component.

Does anyone know how I can fix this?

thanks for sharing your settings with me. I don’t understand where the problem may be, the settings are the same

I agree. Did you follow the Knowledge Base article I shared with you?

I can't see your username. Is it essentially your email address? If it is, then we are definitely the same.

This article @Giuseppe Curato ....

When I said "I can't see your username" I meant on your screenshot 😂 I meant I cannot see whether we are using the same method for providing usernames for authentication. Sorry, when I look at that again, I wasn't terribly clear 🙂

Hi, I followed the instructions of the link you gave me.

But I can’t figure out what to do about step 9 "Make sure the Job runs with the property -Dmail.smtp.ssl.protocols=TLSv1.2."

Can you give me some details?

You can find out how to set JVM settings for the job here....

hello, I’m sorry I didn’t answer you, I was busy. thanks to your tips I managed to solve, the main problem was the java library, replaced that, it was only necessary to enable SMTP AUTH my user office365 as described in this link:

https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/exchange/clients-and-mobile-in-exchange-online/authenticated-client...

thanks again
