Send email from internal mail server on Talend cloud

Hi,

I'm running job on talend cloud and have tsendmail component configured for sending the job status.However the mail server is on-premise and so it doesn't work on cloud. Is there a solution for this?

hi,

there  is no "out of the box" solution:

- you can open mailserver to access from outside, but this is could reduce security

- you could try to use cloud mail provider, but tSendMail component is old and possible it will be troubles with access to modern services

for past 2 years on my projects I use non-email notifications, for example Slack (or any with REST interface)

Hi @vapukov,

Thanks for your suggestions. Project is nearing deadline and now we realise the client's mail server is on premises and so there really is no time to switch to something else.

Will remote engine on cloud solve this problem?
