Hello
I use Talend open studio and I hve a project i'd like to share with some students who also installed taled Open Studio on their computers.
Can I export my project project and send it by mail sio that they can import it on their computer?
Also, my project is reading some excel files. the filepaths are given accordingly to the files stored in my folders.
I believe they have to update the filepath according to the files which are store on their computers, Am i correct?
Is there an easier way so that they can have access to my project?
thank you
Hi @citr dsz , you can right click on you project in the repository view and selec export item, then you check export with dependencies and you could export it a a zip.
Then your students can create a new project then right click on the project in the repository view and select import item then select the zip file.

you can set all your filepath in context variables so they have just to go to the context and change values in.

You can store it as a String or a DIrectory variable(it allow you to select your file in a finder and set it path to a globalMap.
You can apply them in component fields : context.(the name of your context variable).
