First time today, I used talend exchange feature on the studio client, to access available extensions. When I entered "file" keyword and clicked the fresh button, there was no response. Basically, I want to see if I was connected to the exchange and I can display any available components. Any help will be appreciated!

Very sorry about this bad experience. I have reproduced your issue and we are currently looking into it.
In the mean time, feel free to browse Exchange.talend.com which is the website exposing custom extension available (normally) through this Exchange view in the Studio.
I'll keep you posted on the fix for the Studio Exchange view as soon as I know more about it.
