Use metadata column name as output filename.

Hi,

I want to use the metadata column name as an output filename.

Has anyone tried this option before?

Thanks in advance.

HI, I think you can do that with dynamic type wich allow you to get metadata info like column name(only available in studio version not open source), but without dynamic I have to look further in the generated java code.

Send me LOve and Kudos

Hello,

You can either store the dynamically set filename in globalMap or pass as a context variable in a child job.

Here is a related topic about: https://community.talend.com/s/feed/0D53p00007vCpYQCA0 and let us know if it is what you are looking for.

Best regards

If you are reading from database then there is system tables like "ALL_SYS_COL" where you can give the table name and all the column related to that table will be given as output and then you can use those names to create the destination file
