Hi,
Can GeoAnalytics Server be installed on the same server as Qlik Sense Enterprise (on prem)?
This says it can be installed
This says it cannot be installed
For our case QS Enterprise and GeoAnalytics are on the same server, when we encountered an issue and reported it to Qlik, Qlik responded by saying it is not supported. To be or not to be, that is the question!
Thanks
Quan
Thanks very much.
So am I right to say:
1. GeoAnalytics for Qlik Sense; this is a lite version that can be installed with Qlik Sense Enterprise (on prem)
2. GeoAnalytics Server; this is a full version that must be installed on a separate server by itself.
As the end user, how do I tell that my vendor has installed the lite or the full version? We bought the full version and paid for the yearly maintenance to the vendor, so we want to ensure that we do not void the maintenance support because we didn't install it on a separate server. If there is an official documentation on this it will be great. Thanks
@Quan2020 what was your case number
Thanks, the case number is 00354596, this is related to 00166705 and 00106624
Through our vendor, we have a raised a Severity 1 ticket with Qlik Support 00354596: GeoAnalytics Connector is not working
This ticket is related to the following tickets:
00166705: reopen case 00106624: Connector reply error: QVX_SYNTAX_ERROR: Route request failed with error: 404
00106624: Connector reply error: QVX_SYNTAX_ERROR: Route request failed with error: 404
Which has been open since 25-08-2023. The users are escalating this issue and hence we need your assistance in getting this resolved. As the end user, I am concerned that this took such a long time and still is not resolved.
@Quan2020 the links are correct, please note that there is a 'Geoanalytics for QlikSense' that yes can be on the server, however 'Geoanalytics Server' has to be separate. The Geoanalytics Server has its own database and is resource intensive.
The 2nd link refers to the non-server GeoAnalytics its pretty light weight and yes can be located on the same server as QS.
I've looked at that case, and looks like Vicky is on top of it, reach out to her if any questions.
Thanks very much.

Geoanalytics is just a couple of extensions, whereas with server it installs a Postgres database as well. Also you can check your add/remove programs to see what is installed.
