How to build routes between From and To locations

Hello,

I have put together this sample holiday data which consists of hotel and all the places to visit. I have also attached a qvf with a simple bubble map.

I need helpt to determine (in a KPI and on the map)

- the distance to each place to visit from the hotel as a line on the map and a KPI

- the distance between locations so I can see the closest place to visit when am at another particular location

- Total distance

I appreciate any assistance on this.

Hi Krishana. I think you will need the geoanalytics installed and licensed to be able to see the map. Not sure if they have trial versions for it though.

Check out the app "Routing Danish Cities" at

http://bi.idevio.com/products/idevio-maps-for-qlik-sense/qlik-sense-2

that does almost the same thing, calculating all distances between positions.

You need to build a cross table that holds the routes you want and then feed that to the  QGA connector "Route" operation.

I know this is an irrelevant question on this thread,  I'm working on Geoanalytics, I couldn't able download any example qvf application from the website. I tried to download as suggested on the page in Internet explorer.
