We are trying to use the GeoAnalytics Connector in QlikView on a client where there is no Internet connection.
All GeoAnalytics front-end extensions work fine in QlikView (OSM background maps, location services, etc...), but the GeoAnalytics Connector does not...
In the QlikView script editor, we can create the connect string to the local server (the test works fine), and when selecting a GeoAnalytics operation (e.g. the Load operation with Standard areas and points), we keep getting the message :
Failed to process query : Failed to create dataset Dataset: You are not allowed to use the location geometry service: Unknown service/name or key is not allowed to use service.
Any idea what is missing to make this work ?
The same operation on an Internet Enabled machine pointing to the public geoanalytic service works just fine...
Hi,
Sounds like the wrong key is installed.
I would reinstall the client parts on the QV server (extensions and the connector).
and check the on-prem QGA server that all services are running.
Note the connector connects from the QV server to the QGA server.
Thanks,
Patric
