We are trying to install Qlik GeoAnalytics Server Local Maps. All steps of the installation are ok, but when we finished the GeoAnalytics server installation the GeoAnalytics Service is turn up for a few seconds and after that the service is turn down.
We found that the Qlik Sense Server and Qlik GeoAnalytics Server have to share the certified but we have tried whith the certifieds that we export from the Qlik Sense QMC and the issue is still.}
If someone have some idea or a solution we will thanks a lot.
Hi Gerardo,
Check the QGA server logs and that there is no port conflict. By default both Sense and QGA wants to use 80 and 443, which can be modified at install.
Thanks,
Patric
Patric thanks for your answer.
Qlik Sense and GeoAnalytics are in two differents servers, in fact Qlik Sense has a multinode configuration and we want to connect Qlik Sense to the GeoAnalytics server but this server doesn’t turn up the service
Hi, seems like you try to use the same server certificate in two different server, I believe that that won´t work You need one certificate per server.
Please check that Java 64 is installed on the QGA server. And if you´re planning top use https (via port 43) please install a proper certificate, a self signed won´t work.

Qlik
At the end, we have to generate a new certified but it has to be not autosigned
Hi Patric,
Hope you are doing well.
We have installed QGA on the machine where QlikView server QVS is running. We are experiencing port conflicts on Port 443.
1. Can we use QGA https installation on some other port other than 443 in the same machine where QVS is running on 443?
2. Do we need a separate machine for QGA server? is that mandatory?
Thanks in advance!
Regards
Ashok
Hi Ashok,
As Patric mentioned above, you can change the port on installation.
Qlik does not support running the QGA server on the same server as QlikView server. While there is nothing technically to restrict it (I do it on my demo server having changed the port to 81 to avoid conflict) there is no way to protect the memory that QGA will need from QlikView. Hence it is not officially supported as there's no way to prevent a potential problem and having a separate server for QGA is strongly recommended.
Cheers,
Rod
