Hello,
we want to use a Qlik Sense Map and get the following result:
We have Qlik Sense Nov 2019 Patch 2 on a Windows 2016 Server. The server is not connected to world wide web. But maps.qlikcloud.com and *.qlikcloud.com are in the white-list of the firewall.
Anyone has an idea how to solve this problem?
Thank you. Patrick
In order for the mapchart to show background map and do location lookup the client browser has to be able to reach to https://maps.qlikcloud.com/ or an on-premise GeoAnalytics server. (link to setup help).
You can test by opening https://maps.qlikcloud.com/ravegeo/status in the client browser, should return "ok"
In order for the GeoAnalytics connector to work, the Sense server needs to access https://ga.qlikcloud.com/
Thanks,
Patric

Hello Patric,
perfect, it works.
Best regards, Patrick
Hi Patric.
Our Client Doesn't like to Enable an Internet Connection as they are reluctant to expose their internal server to world wide web. Since they are kind of a Banking institution, they are following quite strict security protocols.
I proposed them another method, which is to set up a "GEO Analytic Local Server". For this too they are not quite okay with it as they think it will cost an additional expense. That they can allocate in the next financial year.
I am in a situation, where I need to implement an "Offline Map Solution" without opening an Internet connection and without implementing a Qlik Geo Analytics Server Locally.
Is there any other way to provide them with the map capabilities without Internet Connection apart from what you've mentioned above?
No, my response sums it up:
