format numbers in info bubble area and chart layer

I am trying to format numbers in Area and chart layers.

As I read in this forum the num function can not be used. I like to use a thousands seperator or the '%; - character.

How to achieve that ?

I cannot find any documentation about 'format Numbers list' in the Info bubble tab. How to use that option ?

Solved: I don't know why but numbers are presented the way I want them to using the num function.

Still looking for documentation regarding the "Format number list"
