Standard Designer environment from the server level?

I am brand new to Qlikview and I am responsible for becoming our in-house expert.  My question is "Is it possible to create a standard environment (options from the Settings menu) for all Qlikview Designers from the server level?  If not, does anyone have any suggestions?

Yes, build a skeleton QVW that has the design elements you want incorporated in all applications - this will serve as your template, so to speak.

When you create a new app, you open the template and immediately do a Save As and save the QVW with a new name and probably location.

I might also suggest taking a look at the QlikView Deployment Framework, which we use here as it really helps keep things organized - http://community.qlik.com/groups/qlikview-deployment-framework

And finally, welcome aboard - QlikView is a fabulous product!

Thanks, Mark.  I have done starter templates in the past, and I had a feeling it would be needed here.  I guess I just needed confirmation.
