Let's make Qlik Sense unique from the perspective of color .......
Qlik Sense obviously has some great cognitive capabilities that get extended with every new release.
As one of the 8% of the male population who suffer from a degree of color blindness ( mainly red/green ) can Qlik build any capabilities into the main product in this space. The Data Manager improvement to introduce association bands as well as colors early in 2020 was one great feature that for me had massive impact. Previously the Data Manager recommended associations were unusable.
Yes there are third party websites doing colour manipulation and even scanning, but as color is such a critical component of any visualisation there might be value in flagging to a business analyst color selections that may cause problems ? As well as this impairment a basic "Color Insights" button could flag warnings about inappropriate use of red, inappropriate use of multi-color bars, inconsistent standards in an app, add color choice preferences via business rules, etc etc.
The next C-level decision maker looking at Qlik Sense vs alternative tools might be that very person to be wowed ( and saved ) by color insights in the product.
Plus the success of analytics that depend upon a manual color selection can impact not just the above but everything from business value and data literacy.
