Can't start java virtual machine (Win 10, JRE 8u241, Open Studio for Big Data)

I followed the instructions for installing:

- unzipped the file to C:\Talend\TOS_BD-20190620_1446-V7.2.1

- no JRE installed so I did a clean new install of Java 8

Get the attached error:

Any ideas what is happening?  

I was able to run Talend Preparation Desktop just fine.
