Talend open studio 5.3.1 is a quite old version. What feature you have that requires Talend open studio 5.3.1? Could you please share your story with us?
We developed TALEND code(project) before 5 years with TALEND 5.3.1 open studio, it is on the OS Windows 2008 R2. We didn't upgrade the TALEND version so far
Now we are planning to upgrade our OS version from Windows 2008 R2 to Windows 2012 R2.
We have no idea whether TALEND 5.3.1 open studio is compatible with Microsoft Windows 2012 R2 or not
There are some customized functions are also in TALEND 5.3.1 , we are thinking that if we upgrade the OS version then any of the job could fail
We can take a simple talend program with 5.3.1 version and test it on Windows 2012 R2 but not sure all the code developed with 5.3.1 version would work
Now we need to know whether TALEND 5.3.1 open studio is compatible with Microsoft Windows 2012 R2 or not
Or do we need to migrate all our TALEND code from 5.3.1 to the latest version and the deploy the new code on Microsoft Windows 2012 R2
Support for Windows 2012 R2 64bit was fixed by talend in V 5.6 officially.
In the sense that we do provide an SLA and technical support for it. This doesn't mean TALEND 5.3.1 open studio on Microsoft Windows 2012 R2 will not work but simply we won't necessarily be equipped to help you with any issue you may face with them.
