Companion Shared Library

I have installed TOS-All-r13892-V2.3.3 and get the following error:
"The TalendOpenStudio-win32-x86 executable launcher was unable to locate its companion shared library."
Is anyone able to suggest how I get this version of the application to run.
I have previously installed TOS-All-r7292-V2.2.3 on the same machine with no problems.

I found the solution.
Looks like the archive did not extract properly. I deleted the previous set of files and then re-extracted using 7zip and all is now well.

Hmmm....
Having the same problem, but with:
TalendOpenStudio-win32-x86_64.exe TOS version 2.3.3.
The 32 bit version is starting normally.
Looks like there might be a missing component in the archive.

Hi,
I had the same error message (V 2.3.3 and V 2.4 RC on Mac OS X)
I found a permission denied issue in system logs.
I solve the problem by changing some permissions inside the application package :
$ chmod u+x ./TOS-All-r14257-V2.4.0RC2/TalendOpenStudio-macosx-carbon.app/Contents/MacOS/TalendOpenStudio-macosx-carbon

Thanks a lot. Was already searching for hours when I was installing on Mac OS X V2.4.0 (as my windows version is running fine). First changed the TalendOpenStudio-macosx-carbon to chmod 775 and only then got the correct error message so that I found your solution.
Thanks again

I also faced similar problem on win 2008 OS. Below are the steps to resolve this
1.Right click on the file , select properties
2. The file will show a warning ... 'This file came from another computer and might be blocked to help protect this computer.
3.Click Unblock to unblock the file.
4.Do the same for all files having such problem
5.Relauch TOS_DI-win-x86_64.exe

I downloaded the software, but is there something that I'm supposed to do to install it?  When I click on the app in the download file, I get an error "unable to locate its companion shared library".  I'm using a mac with OS Sierra.

Hello,
I'm on MAC OS X and I got the same problem : "The TOS_DQ-macosx-cocoa executable launcher was unable to locate its companion shared library"
I read all the thread conscientiously and :
- I proceeded the CHMOD commands on the .app files
- I re-re-re-re-re-download the .zip files and proceeded to unzip it in several location
Nothing worked.
Is there any update about this bug ?

Hi,
I had similar problems. Seems that OS X default unzip has issues.
Used keka extractor and it opened nicely..
First I extracted in /Downloads it where TOS was downloaded. Launched fine.
Then I moved it to /Applications. Still launched fine.
