Compatibility of Code from Opensource edition in Enterprise addition

We are using the community open source edition of DataIntegrator IDE to generate code today.

Could the generated code from community/opensource edition be imported into the Enterprise edition ? What are the challenges in migration from community to Enterprise addition - technical as well as commercial.

Are you also using talend subscriotion solution V 7.1.1? We forbid import of items from an upper version.

I am not using any subscription or trial version. I am using the community or opensource edition. Could you please answer my questions,

Could the generated code from community/opensource (free) edition (Talend Open Studio 7.1.1) be imported into the latest Enterprise edition (I believe it would be the same or ) ? The reason I am asking is that we are evaluating any upgrade and risks associated with it like compatibility issues.

What are the challenges in migration from community to Enterprise addition - technical as well as commercial. I have read about issues with compatibility with different versions of the software.

Hello,

You can import the jobs created in Talend Open Studio 7.1.1 into talend subscription solution 7.1.1 or higher version.

From Talend 7.0 onward, a digital signature is added to each project item when it is saved in Talend Studio as a security measure to prevent accidental or malicious modification of project items.

I found this.. 

Keystore was tampered with, or password was incorrect

..error when migrating from OpenSource to Enterprise

Used the same contexts, everything looked ok, just when the job ran it failed.

Retyping the PW in the context, now in Enterprise, seemed to fix it.

Must've been a different encryption or something in OpenSource than Enterprise
