DEPRECATED CDC

I heard that CDC has been deprecated in Talend Open Studio version 8. Currently, my team is using CDC, but we are planning to migrate to Talend 8. What are the alternatives or recommended approaches to replace CDC in Talend 8? This link contain the information of deprecated cdc:

Hello,

 

It has been deprecated in favor of Qlik replicate: https://www.qlik.com/us/products/qlik-replicate

 

As most of these components were open source even after removal (there's no announcement / date for this yet) you can add them back as custom components. So your workflows could continue to operate.

However the configuration / setup that was offered using the studio metadata viewer won't be available after the removal.

Hello, thank you for your response. So, does this mean that if I implemented CDC using Talend, I should switch to Qlik? And would I need to obtain these custom components?
