I tried installing with 6.4.1 commercial license initially but it failed since the template was using 6.3.1 Talend binaries. So i installed using 6.3 trial license and that worked fine however when i switched back to 6.3 commercial license with DQ user type we had to manually configure Job Servers ,Demo Project in TAC.Also user id's dint get set right and they all took talend default user id's.
This issue is resolved in our new 6.4.1 Quickstart which will be out in a few weeks. Here is a short description of the root cause of the problem.
The default eval licenses available for the Quickstart are for Platform for Big Data. This includes licenses for 5 users. With this type of license each user can have a user type of DI.
Since you are using a Talend commercial subscription license you have a different set of license and user types available to you. Your license allows creation only of DQ type users (this provides a superset of DI user privileges).
The script that provisions the project and users is set up to create only DI users so it fails. Since the users are not available, the project and supporting authorizations are not created either.
A work-around for while you wait for the 6.4.1 Quickstart release is to install with the regular Quickstart, export the demo projects (if you are interested in them) and then load them into your commercial subscription Quickstart.
