OS : Windows 10
Java : jre1.8.0_201 (64 bits)
Talend DI : v7.1.1 (20181026_1147)
Proxy : none
I'm trying to install the new version of TOS DI v.7.1.1 on Windows 10 but I didn't manage to install any additional packages. I can see optional (2079) and required packages (47) but when I'm clicking on "Finish", nothing is happening...
I've seen that the default url : https://update.talend.com/Studio/tos/7.1.1/ is taking me to a 404 web page. Is it normal?
I tried several solutions coming from previous posts but without any success.
Could you help me as we need to make Talend work in the version 7.1.1 to be able to plug it on a MySQL 8?
Thanks!
I am facing the same issue. Here is a screenshot of the exception i got:
My browser also complains about an expired certificate.
Update: It works now and I don't know why.

I am in the same issue... was this problem ever solved for Window 10?
Hello @RigoS
Is your network connection OK with you? Are you behind proxy?
Have you already checked this online documentation about:TalendHelpCenter:Installing external modules?

Xdshi,
Thank you for the reply. I am downloading this App from home...
I can download other Applications from Talend (i.e. Data Preparation Analyzer). For an unknown reason I keep getting the error message reading: TOS_DQ-win-x86_64. No Java virtual machine was found after searching the following locations: C:\Program Files\Talend\Studio\TOS_DQ-20182016_1147-V7.1.1\TOS_DQ-20181026_1147-V7.1.1\jre\bin\javaw.exejavaw.exe in your current PATH.
Is there something I need to download as a precursor to downloading the studio suite?
Hello @RigoS,
For v6 of Talend products JDKv1.8 is required instead of JRE. If that requirement is met, ensure JDK bin is included in your PATH environment variable and is being reached.
If setting the JAVA HOME fails add the following line in the .ini file (example: Talend-Studio-win-x86_64.ini) for studio:
-vm path to java bin
Example:
-vm C:\Program Files\Java\jdk1.8.0_65 \bin
Let us know if it helps you to sort out your problem.
Best regards
Sabrina
Hello @RigoS
Is there any update for your issue? Does JDK 1.8 solve this problem?
