Target branch version mismatch after upgrading Studio to 2024-08 version

Hello,

We use Talend Data Integratio on premise. With GIT integration. The studio has now been migrated to 2024-08. The previous version was from early 2024 (02 I think). We have activated Java 17 and the studio appears in the new design.

All existing local branches can be migrated and run.
However, creating a new branch from the main branch results in the following error message:

The question now is how the project can be migrated. We've additionally migrated the job server. But this should not affect the GIT and project migrating.

A push of an already migrated local branch works fine.

Thanks in advance

The question now is how the project can be migrated.
A push of an already migrated local branch runs successfully. Which is also surprising, as the local version is more up-to-date.

Thanks in advance

Matthias

Hello,

thanks for your reply. I've solved it by selecting the remote branch

and then I was asked if I want to migrate. Now I can create new branches from main branch.

Hello,

This error indicates that the project version in your Git repository is older than the version of Talend Studio you're using.
You may have to migrate your project to the newer version before you can work with it in the current Studio version.

Feel free to let us know if this documentation helps for you.
