Workspace Error - This Workspace is already in use

Hi all,

after installing Java JDK and JRE 8.0.271 and TOS_DI-Win32-20200219_1130-V7.3.1 I wanted to start TOS for the first time.

When launching, I receive following error message:

Workspace Error - This Workspace is already in use.

You cannot launch the Studio more than once with the same workspace.

I have checked the Task manager and no other versions of Talend are running.

I am using Windows 10 64 bit.

Thanks for your help in advance!

Cheers

Basti

Hello @not specified not specified ,

Don't use the same workspace path for 32bit studio and 64bit studio.

Try to Install Talend to an unrestricted location such as C\Talend.

Just delete the .lock file under "your workspace"/.metadata folder.
