QS Format Painter, copy size, position and style, and align objects in one click

Hi everyone,

With five or six objects in a Layout Container, dragging corners until everything matches is fine. With thirty, it can take an afternoon and the result is still slightly off, so I created an extension to make our lives easier.

QS Format Painter

Copy a format onto many objects at once. Pick the format from one object, click the ones that should match. Size, position and style travel together or separately.

Align the way you already expect. Align, match widths and heights, distribute. The same toolbar as PowerPoint, on a Qlik sheet. The selection stays live between operations, so you can align to the top and then distribute without reselecting.

Lay out a whole group in one click. Row, column, or a grid of two, three or four columns, either sized from the reference object or filling the container edge to edge.

How to use it

Drop the object on the sheet, a floating toolbar appears. Choose what to carry with the Size, Position and Style chips, pick a format from an object, then click the objects that should match and you do not need to add it to every sheet, one is enough

Double click the paste icon to keep it active. You can also use Alt+C and Alt+V, they do the same as the two buttons.
