Qlik Sense Enterprise on Windows with Signed License Key (SLK): allocating user license, nothing happens

Despite Qlik Sense Enterprise on Windows showing that there are licenses available to allocate (Professional or Analyzer) to users, when a license is allocated nothing happens.
No error is shown, but the user license is not allocated.

Environment

  • Qlik Sense Enterprise on Windows with Signed License Key, up to February 2020

Resolution

Log on to the Qlik Sense Enterprise SaaS tenant which is using the same license, and verify that no license has been allocated to a user and, if necessary, remove it.

Or, upgrade to Qlik Sense Enterprise on Windows  April 2020 or higher to be able to see the licenses allocated to cloud users and remove it from the on premise version.

Cause

Before Qlik Sense Enterprise on Windows April 2020, licenses allocated on Qlik Sense Enterprise SaaS were not shown in the on-premise Qlik Management Console.
