Upgrade on-prem QlikSense Enterprise

Hi everyone,

We have our QlikSense Enterprise in version 14.20.5. We need to upgrade it to version 14.129.7.
We have downloaded the update file from Qlik support portal.
Do you know how to proceed:
Do we have to update components afterwards (I can see Qlik Connector for SAP, MongoDB ODBC installed on the server) ? In case of, where can I find those updates ?
Do we have to download intermediate QlikSense Enterprise update ?

If you could add the version by its naming like May 2021 or February 2023 it might be easier for our Community users to have a better understanding of your versions.

If you have the stand alone SAP connector you need to check the compatibility.

The MongoDB I do understand is the shipped one, so no issue

If you can add the names of the version, I can say if an intermediate step might be recommended or not, usually it might be when doing a very big jump between versions.

Here is our actual version of QlikSense for Windows: May 2021 Patch 16
Regarding the SAP Connector, I've followed your link but I'm not sure it's the same product (see attached file).
Can you confirm that our version Qlik Connector for SAP v7.07.0 and SAP NetWeaver Connector v8.X.X are equivalent ?

Still for SAP Connector subject, Package 8.0.2 or later requires to install SAP Libraries.
If we install version 8.0.0 or .1, does someone know if we need to install something else (version 7.0.7.0 actually installed) ?

As we are not upgrading our QlikSense platform each year, we have this version as an objective: May 2023 Patch1.

Yes, it should be the same connector and for May 2023 you would need to install the 8.0.2 version within its transport files.

Regarding QlikSense Upgrade from May 2021 Patch 16 to May 2023 Patch1, can it be direct or do we have to install an intermediate build ?

Hello   @Support_Informatique ,

You might want to do May 2022, upgrading the PostgreSQL to a more newer version as explained at STT - Upgrading Qlik Sense Repository Database - Qlik Community - 2084696 and if all good, then moving to May 2023.
