KPI presentation not changed in mobile app

In the Qlik Sense SaaS mobile app, KPI objects remain unchanged even though the colors and fonts are modified. They work normally in the browser but not when using the app. Is this a feature or a bug, and can we expect to be able to customize KPIs for the mobile apps? Tested on both iOS and Android.

Thanks for the post @aino

Are you controlling the color/font via theme or directly in the object configuration?

In general, there can be differences between rendering on desktop browser and the mobile app - some objects in the mobile client are optimized for performance but this does at times alter the presentation when transitioning form desktop to the mobile experience.  You can force the desktop presentation by placing it in a container; however, this can come with some performance implications to the app on some mobile devices and of course it has implications to your desktop experience - you are best to experiment based on your business requirements.

Are you trying to author a mobile specific variant of a sheet (e.g  with sub-set of analytics or mobile specific configurations) for the app or are you more looking to see parity view of the sheet in the mobile form factor app?   Are your users browsing in phone or tablet form factor ?

Your suggestions/feedback are welcome in our ideation portal.

Hi Andrew,

Thanks for your reply. We are controlling the font via theme, but have also tried to change it directly in the object configuration. In either case, the font remains unchanged when switching to mobile.

I'm authoring mobile specific sheets, and users are instructed to use the app primarily on their phones.

Thank you for suggesting putting the object in a container - works like a charm!
