App Active Status

Hello Experts

I have a client inquiry concerning their Qlik Sense SaaS environment where we've recently deployed 20 dashboards. These dashboards are static, with data loaded only once at deployment and no subsequent refreshes planned.

Could you recommend a tool or method to monitor the health of these dashboards daily in the Qlik Sense SaaS environment ?

Basically I wanted to check if the 20 dashboard is active and Its up and running.

I am not interested in checking the RAM usage or reloads or numbers of Users using dashboard or Synthetic keys. I wanted to check only the status of the dashboard if it is active and up running on Qlik Saas.

Based on the above requirement which tool can perform this in Qlik.

Thank you!

Hi @Purushothaman

Based on this - If there is no reload and the app is in a space (Not the personal Space) and the Qlik Cloud status is sowing running the whole Qlik Estate will be up and running.

https://status.qlikcloud.com/

I do understand your need for a per application view but as mentioned above, A single app will not be offline, it would be the entire Qlik Cloud for that region.

From a API point of view - I tested this on my Cloud and we can see the apps, Attributes etc but there is no such thing as a status. As this is a region cloud based "thing" (Hope this makes sense).

But on the Apps Rest API (Qlik.dev) this is the results I am getting on the Apps endpoint

My best suggestion would be the API to get the Space (Making sure this is not a personal space, because then only the owner of the application will have access to the app) and this "could" be seen as a offline app along with the Qlik Cloud status.

Hi @Purushothaman

If the dashboard is published it should be "active" - Since there is no reload of new data the app will stay static as you mentioned. I don't understand clearly what you mean by "active and its up and running".

"Up and running" I would just use the Qlik Cloud Status that will give you the cloud status in each region.

https://status.qlikcloud.com/

If the status of your region is up and running I would assume that the dashboards are "active and running"

If you have multiple developers - That might move these apps to different spaces I would recommend using the API to check the space of these applications.

Here is the documentation link

Thanks for the input, @JandreKillianRIC

Our Qlik SaaS environment includes around 90 dashboards, making it impractical to check each dashboard manually. We're looking for a way to monitor the status of each app, similar to the AWS Fleet Manager console which shows the status of instances at a glance.

We are seeking a way to quickly ascertain whether each of our dashboards is "active and running" without having to navigate through each one individually

Is there a tool within Qlik that can help us view the status of our dashboards this way? If not, could you suggest how we might use Qlik APIs to create something similar?

Appreciate your help!
