Can I access local files using Qlik Data Gateway Direct access?

Our customer uses a database that is not applicable for Qlik Data Gateway so they want to export files. Can I use Qlik Data Gateway to get these files?

If not what is the time plan?

Perhaps you might consider Qlik Data Transfer to perform this requirement.

• You can also load data files via data gateway from external sources like MS One Drive and others shown on the 'File Locations' list in the image below.

We are trying to move away from Qlik Data Transfer as it's unstable and not reliable. For instance, it's not possible to schedule upload of folders, you can't monitor the same source with two "Data Folders" (changes are just uploaded to one of the destinations), changes on mapped drives are sometimes not uploaded after a few days due to "lost connection". So we hope Qlik Data Gateway is a better solution where we can control more from the cloud.

In this case the files are local and not on OneDrive and on top, why go via Qlik Data Gateway for OneDrive?OneDrive is also a cloud with the same access from anywhere but China.
