Hello Folks
I hope you are well.
We are currently subscribed to the Qlik Cloud Capacity-Based Premium plan, which, according to the official Qlik pricing page, includes "Anonymous access (public access)" as one of the built-in capabilities.
However, after reviewing the official Qlik documentation, we are seeing conflicting information:
Documentation for Qlik Cloud explicitly states that Anonymous Access is only available through a separate Qlik Anonymous Access Subscription, which comes with its own technical restrictions and regional limitations (e.g., Sweden-only deployment, limited app size, etc.).
Meanwhile, there is no clear explanation of how Anonymous Access is configured or enabled within the Premium Capacity-Based plan, and no reference to it being supported outside the dedicated Anonymous Access Subscription.
Given this contradiction, we would appreciate your clarification on the following:
Does our Premium Capacity-Based subscription truly include Anonymous Access functionality (public links, non-authenticated users)?
If yes, where can we find official documentation or guidance for enabling and configuring it within Qlik Cloud SaaS?
If not, why is this feature listed as part of the Premium plan on the Qlik pricing page, and what steps should we take to enable true anonymous access?
We want to ensure we are not missing a hidden setup option or misinterpreting the licensing conditions.
Thank you in advance for your assistance and looking forward to your clarification.
Hi Korsikov,
So, just to confirm — this means I cannot allow anonymous users in my current Premium Capacity-Based tenant, and instead I need to create a separate anonymous tenant, where I would deploy or migrate apps (e.g., via automation), and only there grant access to anonymous users?
- Correct, cannot be done in the current tenant.
And also, can you confirm that this additional anonymous tenant is included as part of the Premium license and does not require any extra payment?
- It doesn't need an extra payment, but it does need to be included in your subscription. So an 'old' customer with an older subscription maybe doesn't have it.
how the client can obtain an anonymous access tenant?
What is the procedure for requesting and provisioning such a tenant in the future?
- This can be found in the link I've shared. But if it's not complete, I think you can best send a case to Qlik.

Hi Korsikov,
Yes it's definitely included in the Premium license (sold it last month and saw the license file).
You need to know that it's a completely separate tenant. So you can't 'configure' something in your current tenant. It's not like in Power BI where you can publish a report from your workspace and make this anonymously available to everyone.
When creating a new tenant, you can choose if this should be an anonymous tenant. Here a bit of info: https://help.qlik.com/en-US/cloud-services/Subsystems/Hub/Content/Sense_Hub/Introduction/qcs-tenant-...

I had one more question.
A client who would like to provide anonymous access to certain applications for their users.
how the client can obtain an anonymous access tenant?
What is the procedure for requesting and provisioning such a tenant in the future?
