Hi everyone @Michael_Tarallo
We're moving from QSEoW (client managed on AWS) to QlikCloud.
We set up the migration tools and it is working fine.
We have a lot of "folder" data connections that uses FSX (an AWS file sharing service for windows) that contains all the files used by the apps and I didn't find a way to map or to create a new dataconnection using a network path.
What are the solutions available on QlikCloud for this scenario please ?
On this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sBsbdmmYWAE&t=2255s (chapter: Hybrid cloud environments and Cloud Storage) made by the Qlik-support they are saying that it is a feature that was planned for first or half 2024 for the data gateway tool. but I can't find infos on it..
Thank you
-Youssef
Hi @YoussefBelloum ,
file access for direct access gateway is currently being deployed as we speak to different regions, according to this timeline:
I'm not specifically en expert of FSX, but if the share is mounted on the Windows server where the gateway runs, it should work.

But reading your last sentence, I dont' think it will work using FSX, because it is an entirely managed AWS service. we don't have access on the machine that hosts the file share..
But just to be sure, actually we're on Frankfurt region, the new data connection that were deployed on january 15, is it the red one surrounded below ?
I'm asking because it is called "File", so I'm wondering if it can be a folder and not just a file ?
