Hi,
I'm setting up the Microsoft 365 email provider using OAuth2 in Qlik Cloud.
I get the error Invalid Credentials when I save the input of tenant id, client id and client secret. I followed all the steps that we need to take to get it working from the help page: https://help.qlik.com/en-US/cloud-services/Subsystems/Hub/Content/Sense_Hub/Admin/mc-configure-email....
I tried using it with my own mail adress from the company, but also with noreply@companyname.com. Both are giving the invalid credentials error.
Someone has a solution for this?
Is it possible that you are referencing the Client Secret ID instead of the Client Secret?
Hello,
I have the same issue, have you solved the problem ?
I'm using the Client Secret and not the Client Secret ID.
Thank you
Hello again,
For your issue, you have a SMTP provider active, you must delete it with the new button "None"
But I have always "* Invalid credentials." in my side.
Hello
I have the same problem.
What is the solution?
We had this problem.
Solution was to go back to none (deletes it), and redo it according to https://help.qlik.com/en-US/cloud-services/Subsystems/Hub/Content/Sense_Hub/Admin/mc-configure-email...
Hi @john_oll ,
we are also able to make this connection working by following the above documentaion but the problem is we are unable to use that 365 as provider in send mal block in automation flow.
Regards,
Raju
Hey Raju,
that part is "works as designed". You actually have to configure it again, and differently, to use it in Application Automation.
And you have to notice that there is a second "Send Mail" for MS365 (so the normal one should be renamed to "legacy send Mail" imo).
The real f***up is that application automation can't send mails with attachments, so it is unusable at the moment. (The "workaround" is to use sharepoint/onedrive, which does not work for recipients outside the organization in my test. YAY!) But somehow Qlik does not consider this a priority, and *waitforit* will suggest kindly to vote in the idea section.
