Hi Team,
We currently have a data connection created using SAP BAPI in our Qlik Enterprise environment. As we are in the process of migrating from Qlik Sense to Qlik Cloud, we have found that the SAP BAPI connector is not available in Qlik Cloud.
Could you please advise on alternative options for connecting to SAP data in Qlik Cloud?
Thank you for your assistance.
Hi @anjali24
The SAP BAPI connector is not available in Qlik Cloud. Qlik Cloud supports only three SAP connectors:
For migrating from Qlik Sense Enterprise, where the SAP BAPI connector was supported, you'll need to use one of these three available connectors in Qlik Cloud as an alternative.
The SAP SQL connector is a versatile option, as it can connect to SAP BASIS systems version 7.31 to 7.5x. It allows you to query SAP data directly using SQL. But consider that it currently supports only Transparent tables and CDS DDIC-based views.
If you're working with SAP BW/NetWeaver BI systems, the SAP BW connector would be appropriate. For specific report data, the SAP Report connector can be used.
You can also consider OData as a modern, compliant method for cloud integration. Qlik supports OData endpoints for SAP applications (including S/4HANA and BW). This is secure and works well for incremental loads.

Hi @Andrea_Bertazzo ,
Thanks for your reply.
We are facing an issue with loading the SAP table ZMIS_KEY_PERSON in Qlik Cloud.
In Qlik Enterprise, this table was accessed using the SAP BAPI Connector, but Qlik Cloud does not support BAPI connections, and therefore the same method cannot be used after migration.
Please guide us to access this table in Qlik Cloud
