Alternative login when using an identity provider (idp)

Hi,

we have connected our user management in Qlik Sense SaaS to Azure AD (entra) via SCIM and it works fine. My question is the following, if the connection to Azure AD would not work at a certain point e.g. when our Azure Tenant is attacked or the API key is deprecated. How would I be able to enter my Qlik tenant?
Is there a way to implement a emergency user directly within the qlik tenant or a suitable alternative?

Looking forward to your replies!

Regards

Max

Hi Max,

Yes, this can be done. We created a native Qlik account that has access to our tenant for emergency purposes. If you don't already have an account, I do believe you will need to turn off your identify provider to add the account to the tenant.

To access the tenant in emergency situations, you need to use the recovery address provided by Qlik.

https://<tenant name>. <region>. qlikcloud.com/login/recover

I hope this helps.
