With the new UI there are two options now for Analyzer users, Insights and Analytics.
___________________________________________
Unfortunately the button 'Insights' does not deliver any added value for us. Since more or less the same functionality is offered within the new 'Insights' tab as we have already it in 'Analytics', it's just redundance.
Both tabs are shown for Analyzer users, which doesn't make any sense for us. If Analyzers only could see 'Insights' and Profession users see both, it would make sense.
This confuses not only our users, also we admins don't understand it why 'Insights' is in first position. And the Insights "Browse" seems to be exactly the same like function like "Catalog" in Analytics??? The only difference seems to be the naming and the + Create button? We don't get it.
How can we disable Insights from the menu?
@p0cket0m
I don't think this can be done, as the Analytics part is aimed at those who have professional rights granted, that is, developers, the same does not appear to end users.
Which in theory are those with analyzer licenses, so they are focused on visualization and only see the Insights tab.

@MatheusC We tested it with analyzer users, they can definitely see both tabs. Moreover Analyzer Users have the +Create Button, where they can create automations - which is totally wrong! We don't want Analyzers to create any content!
It's horrible and I will escalate this now.
@p0cket0m
It must be something with permissions granted, something along those lines. If you have a partner who can review it for you, please contact Qlik.
I say this because I have already entered the accounts of our analyzer users (“who have viewing permissions”) to check how the new visualization turned out and this option only appears to us who actually have developer permissions, for them only from Insights.

@MatheusC Thanks for the hint, I double-checked roles and permissions of the user who can see both, he definitely is Analyzer and has no roles assigned
@p0cket0m
It could be the permission that is inside the spaces>Members
@MatheusC All Analyzers have the "Can view" permission and we can't set them to restricted because they need to create alerts and export data to Excel.
In my opinion this is implemented wrong. Analyse tab should be visible only for Professional Users or users with the right "Can contribute" and above.
