Does anyone know the max number of recipients for chart sharing? Do recipients need to be Qlik users? See screenshot. How many users can I input in the recipient box?
Hi @mgranillo ,
the limit is of 100 recipients.
The recipients don't need to be registered Qlik users: users that do not have access to the tenant will receive the chart as an image in the email's body, but the link to view the chart "in app" will not work for them.

Thank you!
@Daniele_Purrone One more question I have, have you seen numbers around how many emails are generated in a day for a given tenant? I know it would be highly variable depending on use cases but I'm not sure how to provide estimates to our IT team.
Hi - is there something you need to do in the tenant to allow this? Our tenant has a non-QlikID Identity Provider. When I try add email addresses that are not in our SSO to a chart subscription, the interface does not allow me to add this user. Interesting to note, the email address is a QlikID user.
I have not much experience with Reporting Services, but I expect the Application Automation method to send reports would be fine with non-tenant users.
Cheers, Adam
Hi @AdamBS, chart subscriptions are only for users that have access to the app (and therefore the tenant).
If you have your own IdP you won't be able to add external users.
With Reporting and Qlik Application Automation you can send reports to any user, but it is a different feature per se (though it still relies on the reporting service as the background service).
Hi @mgranillo : while we do have the metrics, it would be quite difficult to provide numbers that would make sense to you. We have customers with huge tenants, and others with very small ones. And then it depends on how they are actually using the product and their functionalities. I suggest that you talk with your account manager, to check the current status of your tenant and, if necessary, have someone from professional services come with possible estimates, if you plan to expand the usage of the functionalities.
