Migrating Bookmarks from Qlik Business to Qlik Enterprise Saas

Hi,
I have a client who has recently moved from Qlik Sense Business to Qlik Sense Enterprise.
IS there any way to export their private bookmarks from the old tenant and import them into the new tenant?
Also, please advise how to change a private bookmark to a public bookmark within the new Qlik Sense Enterprise tenant - the user does have "Edit" permission and not only "View" permission.

Thanks in advance,

Nicky

Getting private bookmarks is going to require either publishing the bookmarks in the old tenant and export/import app again or using advanced Bookmark APIs to try and retrieve and recreate bookmarks: https://qlik.dev/embed/control-the-experience/bookmarks/interacting-with-bookmarks/#building-the-app

To move bookmarks from private to published, the combination should be having a Professional license plus, either Space Owner, Can manage or can contribute.

Can publish is not sufficient.

Can the QMC Utilities app be used as per some of the community reposts?
I don't think so because it says that the minimum requirements are:

  • QMC Utilities must be installed on a server running Qlik Sense server software.

And the client is running Qlik Sense Enterprise SaaS.
Any other thoughts or suggestions?

Yes, you can definitely migrate private sheets and bookmarks to the Qlik Cloud using a tool like Q^Plus Cloud Migrator. It simplifies the bulk migration process, eliminating the need for PowerShell code
