Qlik Cloud Filter Defaults on Opening Report

We are migrating from QlikView to Qlik Sense in SaaS. I would like to set similar triggers for  specific dimensions when the report first opens. How do I do this?

Depending on your needs and your meaning by "report", you can set default bookmarks in Qlik Sense.  These will bookmark apply data filters as well as sheet location (optional).  https://help.qlik.com/en-US/sense/February2024/Subsystems/Hub/Content/Sense_Hub/Bookmarks/set-defaul...

Field-level triggers are not supported in Qlik Sense.

Also there is no concept of Reports in Qlik Sense (Similar to what you have in QlikView), but you can use the Application Automation to do same job for you.

@terrybarna yeah you will need to look at using the tabular reporting baked in to Qlik Cloud, and yes migrating from QlikView to QlikSense is a HUGE migration!

Hello, if the above options are not robust or extensive enough for your needs take a look at ancoreScript. It comes free with ancoreSoft and allows you to 'script' all manner of requirements. Combined ancoreShare and ancoreScript create a unified printing experience that you could only dream of. Now, if you can imagine it you can have it. Want to apply filters and conditions for reporting, no problem, want to add triggers to execute a report, no problem.

I'd be happy to arrange a demo.

Hi @terrybarna : I suppose that by "reports" you mean dashboards/app. Then @GregWoodard has provided the answer.
