Qlik SaaS - how to assign frontend variable value into backend variable

Hi,

I have created a frontend variable vDateTime in Qlik SaaS and now I want to take value of that variable at the backend (edit script).

I want to store this value and other variables value in the database during dashboard reload.

I see, the backend variables value are easily accessable at the frontend but how to do in reverse order ?

@profilejamesbond what use case are you trying to achieve here?

When you say store in database do you mean writeback solution?

This question (from six months ago) doesn't make much sense. Variables are neither front end nor back end, they're just variables. It seems the question here is how to perform writeback, which has been covered extensively, e.g. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hYER2nGKctM
