Access Data Load Editor in published Apps in Streams

Hi all,

is it possible to access the Editor after one has published an App? I have several Apps that are grouped in streams where I would like to access the code and comments that I have used. It is quite tedious having to duplicate the app and delete it just to see how I solved a problem in another app.

Would be nice if I could find an easier way with your help.

Mira

I have Root, Content and Security Admin Roles.

Hi @Mira_io

You are facing Pandora’s box here.

in terms of governance and to keep control is better to do it manually or to use include .qvs files

but, you can do what you want by creating/tweaking some security rules

Take a look to this post

hope this helps.

Yes it is possible to edit published apps including data load editor

however,  if you manage to make a mess of your only copy of the app, you may end up in a much worse situation

it's best practice to work on a copy and publish and replace an app rather than working directly on a single published version

especially if you do not have version control management tools/backups

here's the reference to the security rules you need to modify

Hi @vinieme12 / @RafaelBarrios  I tried the to create security rules as per your reference article, but not able to see data load editor in published apps.

Note: I am the content admin, root admin and have all access.
