Hello! I am new and confused,
I am working on a comparative table comparing 2021 data (purple bar) to 2022 data (blue bar). As seen on the far left of the image, under asset tab, i have 9 total measures id like to display. Ideally i need to have a filter feature that allows me to display each measure independently when selected. However i do not have the option to add new measures to the bar chart. When adding a filter pane, it only filters values, not measures. Will i need to convert this to a pivot table first then pair a chart to the pivot table? Or is there a filter feature already in qlik to achieve what i am imagining?
Can i use the data to make a pivot table and then crate a bar chart that references the pivot table rather than the uploaded data sheet?
Hello, yes you can make your measurements individually and you can change the measurement with a click.
Here a mini tutorial.
First click on advanced options.
It should show you a screen like this.
Then select your bar chart and add the dimensions and measures.
Now if you want the measure to be shown individually, add the main one in "Measure" and the others in "Alternative Measures" which is on the right side, surrounded by yellow.
After having your graphic, you click on "Edit Sheet" to finish editing it.
It's in the upper right.
There you have the graph, now if you want to change the measurement, just right click on the graph and select the "Exploration Menu" option.
Now on the right side you will see the other measures and you can select the one you want with a single Qlik.
Regarts.
