Hi,
I am loading data from csv files having same structure.
Rather than loading all csv files I am using partial load the csv file to append the data in the existing qlik sense table.
But as compared to the previous application, my table size in the new application has increased.
I have same number of rows in the data sets but in the resultant application size has increased tremendously and that too increased by 4 GB.
Is this because there is a row by row execution of data in the partial load.
Please suggest the best way to overcome this.
Thanks
Hi @deep2021
Might help if you can share how you are using the partial reload to suggest causes. My Understanding of the partial reload is it just reload individual tables, so wouldn't expect it to cause this issue.
In my experience with this kind of load i would be looking at incremental loads, Save data out to QVD and only load new CSV files each day.
I have msg you the script for this. We are fetching data from CSV so it is needed.
Also, in qlik sense in task, we we have enabled the partial load task for this.
The script is for the intial and partial load. But there is row by row execution is data.
Is seems there are issues because of the same.
Thanks
