Can someone help with step by step process of procuring license for a new end user for a dashboard. Probably a high level end to end steps shall work

To clarify is the goal to allocate a license to a user in order to grant that user access to the app?
Or is there a lack of unassigned licenses and the goal is to increase the available licenses to then allocate to users?

So the above links are to relevant pages in our documentation, I just chose Professional License allocation as an example but the other license and allocation types operate largely on the same concepts and you'll be able to find specific documentation for those types in the same areas of our documentation as the Professional license management.

But at a high level, there are 2 methods of assigning the licenses, either manually or by creating access rules which will automatically assign the licenses based on some selected criteria. Many QS admins will choose a domain group as the filter for such a rule but it is far from the only option.
