Hi Folks,
i got a situation, where i have one dimension: Year and 3 expression: my 3 expressions do look like:
1.$(vGeplant_OhneHF)
2.$(vGeplant_MitHF)
3.$(vVerbraucht)
my expression in this issue are the variables
i wanto to give to my 3 Expression 3 Colors:
1.$(vGeplant_OhneHF) = rgb(102,51,0)
2.$(vGeplant_MitHF) = rgb(0,128,255)
3.$(vVerbraucht) = rgb(204,0,0)
i tried to solve this issue with ValueList () function, but i didnt achieve any solotuions
Does anybody have aby idea?
Thanks a lot
Beck
create each expression as a master measure; with that, you can attribute a color to each measure and then call the 3 of them in your chart
Hi Omar,
i know this solution, but if i create my report and give to customer (who has old version of QS) then this master-measure case does not work,
Do you know another alternative?
Thanks a lot
I can't think of a way to do it ! sorry
Hi Beck,
if this is about QS you cen set a different color for each expression.
The trick is to ad an expression as a Master Item.
Master Items -> Measures -> Create New -> and here you can define a colour for a measure.
Let me know if this helps (or needs diferent solution).
Kind regards,
Chris.
Hi Krzysztof,
i know this procedure, is there another way to solve this issue?, Because but if i create my report and give to customer (who has old version of QS) then this master-measure case does not work.
Do you have any idea?
Hi Beck,
any other solutions I can think of:
- background color expression - you probably are familiar with
- text color expression - same as above
- extension for master objects Qlik Branch - not sure if extension will fit your purpose
Also Steve Stree applied Dim idea to work with colors.
Re: color by expression - QlikSense
Kind regards,
Chris.
Hi Krzysztof,
thanks a lot for your feedback, i tried to solve this issue with basic of qlik sense, but i think it is possible only with an extension.
Nevertheless i will try to solve it and will give a feedback when i have a solution.
thanks a lot
