How can I show separate colours for multiple measures in a combo chart?
I have seen examples using valuelist function, but these all required multiple dimensions (incl a synthetic one) which the combo chart doesn't allow?
Can you elaborate a bit more with a screenshot of what you want ?
For example the screenshot below shows separate colors for 2 different measures in a combo chart by i'm sure its an oversimplification ...
Screen shot attached using multicolours,
So aim is to make the target line black, the bars either purple or red (depending on another field selected in list box), etc..
So far I’ve only managed to make the whole chart either purple or red.

So we are looking for a way to conditionally color the bars in a combo graph while keep a line in that same combo chart as single color... (black)
I think i'm stumped ! I do not see a way to do this currently , even with fancy expressions. I'll see if i can share this around..
...and got a (quick) confirmation that this is not currently possible and is on the product roadmap. Be sure to keep an eye out for any handy extensions in branch.qlik.com to assist with specific needs like this. (its also very doable in QlikView where fine level control is very established )
thanks for that update Jonathan.
Is it still not possible to color the combo chart like it is needed in here?
Not that I’m aware of Christoph, but any suggestions welcome!

It's possible to change the bar colors in the combo chart separately? Nothing fancy, only not-that-blue-and-red-again-please. Maybe they added a new functionality recently.
Best regards,
Hi,
I think now its possible to change color for expression. You can change the color on master library for expression
and use the expression on any charts.
I have attach a screenshot for the same.
