Hi All,
I tried to create a new OLE DB connection in Qlik Sense Desktop but having Connector connect error: {0}.
All credentials have been supplied correctly.
Test Connection, it was successful.
I only encountered the error when clicking Create button.
Thanks.
Hi Gian - we will need more information, steps, screen shots, logs to see what it stopped working. Usually it is a access thing - such as firewall / ports / hostnames / creds etc. Let us know and we will do our best to assist,

Hello Michael,
Good day! Hope all is well.
Please see below screencaps.
Note that we're using Qlik Sense Desktop April 2018 release. We're trying to establish a connection to our provider's read-only database where we can access live data. Our organization's IPs were whitelisted.
Also note that i don't have visibility on firewall/ports configurations as we're using company issued machines.
If you can share how we can check it, please let us know. Thanks.
Screen upon clicking Test connection button.
Test connection successful
Loading upon clicking Create button
Error screen
Please also note that test above were done 17 minutes ago.
And now, we've successfully created new connection using the exact information.
Wow - seems like an issue with the host and limiting the number of requests made within a certain time frame, perhaps to prevent a DOS attack? If you were to create a new connection and just click create WITHOUT clicking TEST - does it work the first time?
Thanks Ali that is helpful to know as well.
Hello Michael,
Yep, either we just click Create or do Test Connection first, experiencing the same issue.
Anyways, we managed somehow to connect and extract data from the source.
Thanks.
Everyone, thank you again for your help and inputs!
