Date (from Date picker ) to be present in between 2 dates from Qliksense report columns

Actually as you can see in the following report we have 2 dates "Effect..Period Start date" & "Effectv..period end date"

Now we have to select those dates in these 2 date column which are between the date range as selected in the Date Picker.

For eg we have selected 01/03/21-03/03/21 in the date picker then Effect Start date should be say 01/03/21 & effective Period End date should value say 02/03/21 , idea is that both these dates should be between 01/03/21 to 03/03/21.

Please advice how can I do that ?

I used the following script in the "Effect..Period Start date"

 & similar one for the "Effect ..Period End date "

but the start dates & the end dates are overflowing the range( i.e date like 09/03/21 are coming )
