I am trying to optimize very slow application and what I have discover that in the fact table there are fields which have very low Density

• Information Density is the number of records that have values (i.e. not NULL) in this field as compared to the total number of records in the table.

i.e.:

so it means that in ~26 mln records 48,4% have non null-value for that field?

No, it means that there are 26410575 non null values that are making up the 48,4%

So, total rows in table are ~26 mln in ~55 mln rows in table
