Desktop version auto-logs in without an account

When I opened the desktop version for the first time after installing, it did not prompt me to login but came up with a dashboard. I need to log into different accounts on the desktop version to run testing but cannot find a login or logout button anywhere. Can anyone assist on how to switch accounts on the desktop version? Thanks

Its as the name suggests a desktop version so the user is already know i.e the user of the desktop.

Login authentication is handled through the server version so you would need to test that on a serrver environment.  You can however control access to the data content through the use of Section Access which will prompt the user for a login even on desktop but only if its setup.

My understanding is that Section Access is not supported on the Qlik Sense Desktop version, my question is: How do you enable Section Access on the Qlik Sense Desktop version?

not available in desktop version (as automatic reload is not either).

desktop = free demo version (all data manip/visualisation tricks are available; not security and not automatic reload)
