For given data is output of my pivot which I am using as a data table, how can i convert "A,B,C,D,E,F,G,H,I" into a Value for new defined dimension? It's difficult in Qlik Sense to read and visualize this data.
Thanks in advance
You have to delete the field that is a dimension, and then click "add data" and choose measure. Click the Field that contains "A,B,C,ect". Its going to ask you how you want it aggregated, meaning that in the even there are two values for one dimension, the measures have to be combined in order to make the table. Sum usually works best, and after it is a measure you can add your new dimension.
Hi Erica,
All these I have to do while data loading? or something else i'll have to do
My visualization pan is showing these value as Dimensions only..not getting option to consider this as measure.
Thanks,
Bhavik
No, this is all going to be front end, when you add a pivot table you should have an option of a measure versus dimension.
In Pivot, You can have it as Column Dimension.
