Display number from a selected table and column

Hello and pre thanks for any help. 

I have a table with several columns of data. One particular column i have counts based of filters previously set in the table. The column displays a Total count at the top that i both created and want to see. Now i am adding a Chart that i wish  to only display the number from that certain table and that certain column total number that is displayed. The problem with a simple = is that my new chart doesn't see the pre set filters in the table. I want it to to act more like Excel in which that lets say this cell(A) = the exact number displayed in another cell(B) but the cell B is the column total number displayed. Ideas?

Not 100% clear as to what you are trying to achieve

"One particular column i have counts based of filters previously set in the table" - what do you mean? When you filter your data you normally filter the set so selections propagate to all the other objects in the dashboard. Are you saying you are using set analysis in some of the expressions?

Can you upload your dashboard or provide some screenshots of what is the issue and what you are trying to achieve?

I just want the number on the left to be what the number on the right is. And if the number on the right is 3 then the number on the left is 3 and so on.

These are two different objects so that type of link is not possible. Just replicate the same expression

What expression are you using for the total? What kind of filters were you referring to?
